Refund Policy

1. Our promise

We want PaperGenre to genuinely help you prepare for your exams. When paid plans become available, first-time subscribers will be covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee: if the service isn’t right for you, tell us within 7 days of your purchase and we’ll refund you, subject to the conditions below.

2. Eligibility

To qualify for a refund, all of the following must apply:

• your request is made within 7 days of the purchase;
• it is your first subscription (the guarantee covers first-time subscribers);
• you have a genuine reason — for example, the service isn’t useful for your exam preparation; and
• you have made only minimal use of the paid features.

3. What is not covered

• requests made after the 7-day window has closed;
• accounts that have made heavy or extensive use of the paid features, since the service has already been substantially used;
• renewals of a subscription you have previously held; and
• purchases linked to suspected abuse, fraud, or breach of our terms.

Refund requests are reviewed individually and in good faith.

4. How to request a refund

Email papergenre@gmail.com with the email address on your account and the details of your purchase. We aim to respond within 24 hours. If your request is approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method, typically within 3–5 business days of approval (the time it takes to appear can vary with your bank or payment provider).

5. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a paid plan at any time. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again. Cancelling on its own is not the same as a refund — to request a refund, follow the steps above. The free plan is always free.
